PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education under the UN Global Agreement) Chapter CEE held its 1st regional meeting at RISEBA University (Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration) in Riga, Latvia, on April 18-19, 2016.
56 delegates from 19 PRME signatory business schools from Central and Eastern Europe came together to agree on a Constitution and Steering Committee and to discuss ideas on the roles, activities, and events for the new PRME Chapter. From the Russian side the charter documents were signed by MSUBS professors Natalia Sharabarina and Marina Markova.
For the first time in PRME’s history the issue of including business schools’ representatives into PRME Chapter CEE Steering Committee has been on the agenda. This step aims to promote a closer dialogue between business schools and recruiters on business needs and development of graduates’ skills required by the modern companies.
