Students consider opportunities of professional development at Career Day
On April 11, 2016, MSU BS’s students and alumni of undergraduate and graduate programmes participated in a traditional Career Day. As in the previous year it was held in an extended format. It started with a round table discussion of recruiters and students “Future Manager’s Successful Career”. Among the participants of the discussion were Russian and international companies, including Procter& Gamble, Invitro, Mazars, and Ernst & Young. At the second part of the event a vacancy fair was organised.
During the round table discussion students asked HR specialists about internships, companies’ requirements and expectations from the graduates, future employment opportunities, and the impact of current economic situation on the labour market. Companies’ representatives pointed out achievement drive, proactivity, teamwork and language skills, and respect to ethic principles as essential competencies needed for a successful start of a career.
At the vacancy fair students received relevant information about vacant positions and internships, filled in application forms and passed their CVs to HR managers.
