MSU BS Master programme in International Business and Strategy successfully passed the peer review assessment and received the confirmation of its compliance with the education quality requirements of ABEST21, as was announced in Tokyo on October 19, 2015. The Commission approved MSU BS self-examination report and ratified the peer review team conclusion made after its visit to MSU BS.
On October 5-8, 2015, the peer review team of ABEST21 represented by President Fumio Itoh (Japan), Professor Ming Yu Cheng (Malaysia), Professor Qinhai Ma (China) and expert Olga Samoylova (Russia) visited MSU BS. The official visit started with the meeting of the peer review team with MSU vice-rector academician Alexey Khokhlov, deputy vice-rector professor Yuri Mazei and MSU BS dean professor Oleg S. Vikhanskiy. During the meeting MSU administration emphasized the contribution of the Business School into the development of international educational projects and teaching methods, which provide the high competitive performance of the department.
The meeting at MSU was followed by a series of interviews with MSU BS administration, faculty, students, and graduates of the Master programme in International Business and Strategy held to assess the quality of the educational process and its compliance with the international standards and criteria. The peer review team underlined that the uniqueness of the programme is its being practice-oriented and its teaching methods, providing master students with deep knowledge and skills needed for successful career.
An independent international accreditation of Master programme is strategically important for MSU BS to enhance prestige, attract more Russian and foreign students and to extend international cooperation with business school in Asia, America and Europe.
