MSUBS guest lecturer professor Alpaslan Kelleci holds a course on digital marketing

MSU Business School launched a new course for Master in Business Strategy students — «Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Strategy». The author and tutor of the course is professor Alpaslan Kelleci. Professor Kelleci works at Istinye University in Istanbul and now he is a new guest lecturer at MSUBS.

Prof. Kelleci has gained not only a solid academic background from one of the Turkey’s leading national universities, Bilkent University, but also 25 years of experience in the textile industry in Turkey, Europe, and Russia. From 2009 to 2016 Alpaslan Kelleci directed the marketing strategy of Turkish textile and ceramics companies.

«Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Strategy» intends to shape students’ knowledge of business strategy and digital marketing tools as well as to provide examples of successful Russian and international companies. The course program covers the following topics:

  • Strategic management in digital media;
  • Development and promotion of e-commerce platforms;
  • Data analysis and online consumer behavior;
  • Brand and communications management in digital channels;
  • Innovation and sustainable development in e-commerce.

At the end of the course master students worked out marketing strategies of their own based on existing or hypothetical businesses.

The course is a part of Lomonosov MSUBS academic development strategy aimed at integrating best international practicies into the curriculum and preparing entrepreneurs for successful work in the global digital environment.
