MSU Business School Strengthens its Leadership in the Eduniversal 2025 Global Ranking

17.11.2025

The MSU Business School has solidified and advanced its position at the forefront of global business education, according to the Eduniversal ranking agency. At the 18th Eduniversal International Convention 2025, the school was honored with the prestigious 5 Palmes Emeritus status, Eduniversal’s highest distinction, reserved exclusively for institutions that have demonstrated unwavering leadership for more than a decade.

Schools are evaluated according to a set of criteria developed by the Eduniversal International Scientific Committee, including, among others, the degree of internationalization and the results of a global vote by the deans of the world’s top 1,000 business schools. In Russia, only two institutions hold the 5 Palmes Emeritus status, the MSU Business School and the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University, highlighting the significance and exclusivity of the award.

Receiving the 5 Palmes Emeritus is a major international recognition of the (educational) philosophy that underpins the MSU Business School and guides its development. Our approach combines openness to global expertise, a commitment to fair competition, and the highest standards of corporate culture. Thanks to our international partnerships, our students and faculty gained unparalleled opportunities, including access to world-class practices, international communication and cross-cultural collaboration, as well as career pathways in leading companies

stated Oleg Samuilovich Vikhansky, Dean of the MSU Business School and Distinguished Professor of MSU

This year, the Eduniversal Convention was hosted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore), bringing together leaders of business education from more than 100 countries. The conference theme, “Bridging Purpose and Performance – Business Education as a Force for Good”, emphasized the vital role business schools now assume in championing not only economic success but also the humanistic values needed to navigate and find balance in today’s complex and rapidly changing world.

Over the course of the convention, the MSU Business School held meetings and reached agreements on new partnerships with business schools in India, Brazil, Lebanon, and Senegal. International collaboration with leaders in business education across various world regions is an integral element of the MSU Business School’s long-term strategy: to uphold world-class educational standards and prepare graduates capable of major achievements in the world of business and entrepreneurship.
