The War through Eyes of Children: in memory of WWII

To celebrate the approaching Victory Day, on April 24, the second-year Bachelor of Management students presented a programme, The War through Eyes of Children. The plot was based on the book by Elena Filipovich, Through the Darkness of War We Rushed to Our Stars. The book is a collection of stories, memoirs of those who survived WWII as children or teenagers.

Succinct narrative against the background of war time documentaries took the audience back to the WWII years and made everyone look at war events through the eyes of children – those who are today among the last eyewitnesses of those harsh times.

We thank the creative team behind the project and we are proud of the fact that they found a way to reflect on the war era from a completely new perspective, thus enabling us all to see beyond the stereotypes and appreciate what our country went through during those trying years.
