On September 5-8, PRME CEE Chapter had its annual conference. PRME is the UN initiative aimed at joining the efforts of prominent schools around the globe in promoting the principles of ethics, responsibility and sustainability in business education. FELU, Faculty of Economics of Ljubljana University, hosted this year’s conference.
MSUBS is an active PRME signatory and is constantly implementing new, creative ways not only for in-class discussion of ERS principles but for hands-on experience and interaction with various businesses and non-profits, so that students can learn about the current challenges and best practices firsthand. Nina Koryakina, MSUBS faculty member, shared about the School’s experience and systematic approach in her report at the conference. In the working session of PRME CEE Steering Committee, the representatives of various schools shared their experience and discussed ways to collaborate. As the participants noted, Eastern and Central Europe schools have a lot in common – and they share not only common history but the same drive for excellence, partnership and promotion of common values.
