MSUBS Holds Final Round of International Universiade in Management, International Business and Entrepreneurship – 2017

On 3-5 February 2017, 98 students from over 20 Russian cities as well as from the Netherlands, Croatia, Bulgaria and other countries, who had successfully passed the first qualifying round, took part in the final round of MSUBS Universiade – 2017.

The opening ceremony started with the welcome speech of Dean Prof. Oleg S. Vikhanskiy.

The individual section was held on the 3rd February and included English and Management tests. During the group section, several companies, among which were Basic Element, Unilever, Motorica (RVK project and Intermark Relocations presented business cases to be addressed by the participants. On the following day contestants made presentations on these cases to the companies’ representatives.

An intellectual game, facilitated by MSUBS Associate Dean Natalia Bukhshtaber, served as another opportunity for participants to apply their skills and practice team work.

During the closing ceremony MSUBS professors Natalia Bukhshtaber and Alexander Gritsenko summed up the results of the Universiade and awarded the winners. The partner companies congratulated the case winners and awarded them with certificates and special gifts.

Moscow sightseeing tour was organised for participants on February 5, 2017.
