Within two months of the autumn semester Lomonosov MSU Business School students together with students from the University of Tokyo (Japan) worked out e-commerce development strategies for Avanda Corporation (Japan). Joint work was held at LMSUBS during the Japanese students' internship in the framework of academic cooperation between Moscow State University and the University of Tokyo (Japan). Russian and Japanese students worked in team, held regular meetings, discussed possible strategies for business development. The final project defense was held online on November, 10th.
Students’ presentation was assessed by the international panel of judges composed of the LMSUBS professors, the head of Avanda Corporation Mr. Hiroshi Maeda and the business consultant Ms. Mitsuko Takahashi. LMSUBS and University of Tokyo students highly appreciated the gained experience of international cooperation, which undoubtedly helped develop their professionalism and acquire practical skills in cross-cultural environments. Solving real problems of business development students also were able to improve their teamwork skills.
