Research and the development of knowledge are fundamental dimensions of all Lomonosov MSU BS programs. The Lomonosov MSU BS Doctoral program is designed and structured to foster academic research in applied economics and management. The program is intended for candidates with outstanding intellectual abilities and a strong commitment to research.
Requiring a minimum of three years, the Doctoral program consists of compulsory courses within the first year of study, teaching practice during the second and third years of study. Research, leading to the dissertation, starts in the first years and continues through the course of study.
A wide variety of research options are available to PhD students: managerial science, strategy, finances, human resources management, and organizational behavior theory. The limited number of students and the breadth of subjects covered ensure
