Bachelor of Management programme provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to identify and solve problems in business and management. After graduation, students of the programme should be ready to begin a successful career in Russian and international companies, or to continue their education on the Master level in Russia or abroad.

The programme is four years in duration (240 credits). Its curriculum is essentially international and provides theoretical and practical knowledge in business and management, supplemented with an understanding of contemporary issues in macro and micro-economics, environmental, ethical, legal, political, sociological and technological aspects of a company’s external environment. The core part of the programme includes the disciplines that deal with the launch of organisations and their effective and responsible management. The electives are designed to increase knowledge in the major fields of business administration and provide specialisation in particular functional management areas. Disciplines of the 3rd and 4th study year are primarily taught in English thus providing an opportunity for exchange students from partner universities to come and study at MSUBS for a semester or more.

The Practice of Business course is designed specifically for the Bachelor programme and is an integral part of the curriculum. Throughout the course undergraduates work in a real business environment under the guidance of professional managers and consultants. The study of foreign languages makes a significant contribution to the development of intercultural communication abilities. Students who demonstrate high proficiency in English have the option to study other languages, including French, Italian, Spanish, and German.

Bachelor students are encouraged to go abroad for a study tour or a semester of study at one of MSUBS’s partner institutions.
