BACHELOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Core Liberal Arts, Management Knowledge and Experience
Liberal arts are an integral part of a classical university education and form the core of the Bachelor of Business Administration program with emphasis on economics and other social science disciplines. Core professional disciplines are introduced in the first year of study.
A highly selective policy of admissions and an optimized annual intake of 40 students guarantee an individualized approach to all GSBA undergraduates.
Action-Reflection-Learning
GSBA’s teaching philosophy “Action-Reflection-Learning” is especially relevant in the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Whenever possible, classes use active methods of teaching: practical exercises, case studies, business games, and team projects.
Undergraduates are provided the opportunity to test newly acquired management knowledge during field studies and regular research projects.
Practice of Business
Designed specially for the BBA program, the Practice of Business course is compulsory for all first, second and third year students. Guided by professional managers and consultants, undergraduates work in real business environments. Having tested knowledge and skills they receive at GSBA in the real world, they come back to class to share and analyze their experience with instructors and classmates.
When students graduate from GSBA they know how business works!
Research
GSBA maintains the best traditions of soviet education. A final research paper has always been a particularly valued feature for higher-education graduates. GSBA students utilize and sharpen their analytical skills by producing compulsory annual research papers.

International Study Tours and Exchange Programs
To facilitate the study of foreign languages and an understanding of cultural differences, GSBA organizes study tours and short-term educational programs abroad. Each GSBA student is encouraged to go abroad for a selected study tour or to spend a semester abroad in one of GSBA’s partnering institutions. Special English semesters are designed to give our home students practice studying in a foreign language and to facilitate our international students' integration.
