On March 3, 2016, at the annual conference of the Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow, a 21st century organisation (ABEST21), which took place at Sony University in Tokyo, President Fumio Itoh granted the Master programme accreditation certificate to Dean Professor Dr. Oleg S. Vikhanskiy.
An independent international accreditation of Master programme is strategically important for MSU BS to enhance prestige, attract more Russian and foreign students and to extend international cooperation with business school in Asia, America and Europe. The accreditation process has continued for two years. In October 2015, a Peer Review Team visited MSU BS and confirmed the high quality and success of the programme as well as MSU BS’s focus on extending cooperation with business schools in Asia, America, and Europe. In March 2016, The Accreditation Committee of ABEST21 recommended awarding the Master programme in International Business and Strategy of MSU BS with a 5-year accreditation and the Association’s Board took the corresponding decision.
The Association “Alliance for Business Education in XXI Century” (ABEST21) was founded in 2005 to support business education worldwide on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation among alliance members. At the moment ABEST21 members are represented by the leading business school from 18 countries, including the USA, Japan, Germany, Austria, China, and many others. ABEST21 accreditation is recognised at the national level in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and some other countries.
