Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School held International Autumn School “Entrepreneurship and Business Engineering”
The International Autumn School “Entrepreneurship and Business Engineering” is a joint educational project of Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School (MSU BS) and Saxion University (Netherlands). It was implemented with the support of the World Trade Center Twente and the largest business incubators in Russia and the Netherlands - GenerationS (RVC project, Moscow, Russia) and Kennispark Twente (Enschede, The Netherlands).
During October and November, students from Russia and the Netherlands worked in joint international groups on the formation of an entry strategy of innovative products on the foreign market. The organisers held a contest to choose Autumn School participants among the students from leading universities in Russia and the Netherlands. The finalists were organized into international advisory groups to develop recommendations for real companies - "4Silence" (Netherlands) and "SolarNanoPrint" (Russia). Both companies are successful startups that want to enter a new market. Top-managers and specialists of the companies were actively communicating with students while working on projects using Skype-sessions. The educational support was provided in the form of video courses and presentations of MSU BS’s and Saxion’s faculty on the virtual platform http://www.autumnbusinessschool.org. Also, the experts and business coaches of GenerationS and Kennispark Twente business incubators helped students to test their ideas and assess feasibility of the recommendations.
In December Dutch students came to MSU BS to defend their research papers. During their stay in Moscow, the students visited Skolkovo Technology Park and some Russian and international companies. On December 2, 2015, there was a final defense of the papers with the virtual participation of the companies’ representatives via Skype. They asked questions and assessed the students’ research results. The best team was awarded a traineeship at the International Week at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences which will take place in March 2016.
