MSUBS faculty held a set of lectures for SDA Bocconi students
In the beginning of June a group of Italian master students from SDA Bocconi University (Milan) participated in a study tour to Russia. A group of MSUBS professors has traditionally held a set of lectures on different aspects of doing business in Russia for the group.
MSUBS Economics Department professors Dr. Vera Kononova and Dr. Sergey Zaverskiy presented an extensive Russian economy overview and Dr. Irina Petrovskaya from MSUBS Management Department discussed with the students specific aspects of Russian business culture and cross-cultural management. Students also participated in classes about the development of Russian political system from a visiting professor Henry Sardaryan (MGIMO) and received a historical overview of leadership development in Russia from MSUBS visiting professor Alexander Lazutkin.
General Manager of DeAgostini Publishing House Nikos Skylakis spoke about the special aspects of publishing business development in Russia and shared with the students valuable tips on working and living in Russia. Students also visited several MSUBS corporate partner companies. During the visits to John Deere and JLL companies students learned about the development of leading international companies on the Russian market as well as received opinions of their top-managers about the specifics of running an international company in Russia. Heads of Marketing and Sales of the well-known Russian IT company - Kaspersky Lab presented the milestones of company’s development, challenges of entering the international market and made a tour to the heart of company – its anti-virus laboratory.
