MSUBS expands its international relations with Japanese business schools

In the beginning of March an MSUBS delegation visited Japan aiming to participate in the annual conference and annual meeting of The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship For Tomorrow, a 21st century organisation (ABEST21) as well as to visit several Japanese universities.

The annual ABEST21 conference and meeting were held in the HQ of Fuji Xerox Co in Tokyo. MSUBS Dean Professor Dr. Oleg S. Vikhanskiy moderated a session devoted to the corporate social responsibility issues. The Fuji Xerox Senior Vice-President Mr. Masashi Honda presented the key report in this session.

The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship For Tomorrow, a 21st century organisation (ABEST21) was established in 2005 and unites the leading business school and universities in Japan, China, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, USA and Australia. MSUBS is the only Russian business school which is a member of the Alliance.

MSUBS delegation also visited one of its partner universities Nagoya University of Commerce and Business located in Nagoya. The partnership started in 2012 and till now focuses on student exchange programme only. MSUBS delegation held a set of negotiations with the directors of undergraduate and master programmes about the opportunities to start several new joint projects. Moreover, the MSUBS delegation was invited for a short discussion with the President of Nagoya University of Commerce and business Dr. Hiroshi Kurimoto.

During this visit to Japan MSUBS delegation has also visited a prominent Sophia University located in Tokyo and discussed the possibility for cooperation with the representatives of different departments of the Japanese institution.
