Fourteen bachelor students participating in the professors` Yokota seminar at Waseda University for one day became MSUBS students.
Visit to the MSUBS was almost the first point of the groups` intensive programme. Students came to Russia for a week to meet the representatives of different educational, state and non-governmental organisations in Moscow and in St. Petersburg which play an important role for collaborations between Russia and Japan.
Having received a general overview about MSUBS, its philosophy, mission, history and programmes from the head of international Office Anna Winnik, students proceeded with a master-class from MSUBS senior lecturer Dr. Sergey Shaposhnikov discovering the special aspects of doing business in Russia. After that, students joined the class on “Cross-cultural management” held by MSUBS associate professor Dr. Irina Petrova for third-year bachelor students. Japanese students presented the results of their researches and participated in a cross-cultural interactive game together with the MSUBS local and exchange students. Working in groups with the MSU local and exchange students from all over the world Waseda students were able to plunge into a unique cross-cultural atmosphere of MSUBS.
Later, the MSUBS students from the International Relations Committee of the Student Union presented their view on studying at MSUBS, participating in its academic and extra-curricular events and living in Moscow. The visit was completed with a short campus tour and a visit to the Main Building of Moscow State University.
