On April, 14 JLL top managers Chris Dryden and David Jenkins presented a lecture “Valuation: commercial real estate and hotels” as a part of Commercial Real Estate Management course at the Master in International Business & Strategy Programme at Lomonosov MSU BS
Valuation of real estate and hotels are important aspects of today's global commercial real estate business. MSUBS students learnt about the international practice of real estate valuation including the land and hotels valuation.
Chris Dryden leads the Jones Lang LaSalle Valuation team in Russia and CIS and has been based in Moscow since December 2006. Chris has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since 1988. Chris has extensive experience in all aspects of property valuation, particularly in relation to development land. He has appeared as an expert witness in the London Court of International Arbitration. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Aberdeen University (1985) and a Master of Arts from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (1992).
David Jenkins joined Jones Lang LaSalle in March 2013 as Head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Hotels and Hospitality Group in Russia and CIS. David has led hotel consulting teams in Russia since 2006 and prior to this had 15 years of hotel management experience in Moscow and London. He developed concept for luxury resort in Crimea, advised on contractual terms, architect selection and ongoing owner representation. He created feasibility studies and valuations for hotels and projects in Almaty & Astana in Kazakhstan, Yerevan in Armenia, Minsk in Belorussia, Baku in Azerbaijan and across Ukraine. He has a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management.
