On September 5, 2013 MSU BS held a so-called «Orientation Day» - a meeting for newly arrived foreign students, organised jointly by the administration and students of the school. In the new semester, 22 foreign students from more than 10 partner business schools will be trained in MSU BS in the frame of an international student exchange programme.
Due to its solid reputation and increasing efforts to internationalize the school, from year to year the number of participants in the programmes of academic mobility grows and students’ geography expands. This year, the MSU BS international student body increased at the expense of students from France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Japan, Singapore, Mexico and Ukraine.
This year for the first time MSU BS receives foreign students who won the scholarship to participate in the ERANET-MUNDUS programme, the realisation of which MSU BS joined in autumn 2012. Along with Moscow State University, 10 European universities in Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Poland participate in the ERANET-MUNDUS project.
MSU BS international office representatives told the exchange students about the Moscow State University and the Business School, explained the fundamental rules and principles of study at the MSU BS. The students – members of the International Committee prepared the presentation and provided information useful in foreigners’ everyday life in Moscow. The Orientation Day ended with a joint Moscow sightseeing tour of Russian and foreign students.
