On May 9-10, the 11th Annual Conference of the Baltic Management Development Association (Baltic Management Development Association) took place in Kaunas, Lithuania exploring the topic "The role of management in empowering innovation and creativity".
The conference brought together representatives from universities, business schools and heads of international and regional associations for management development, business executives and publishers.
Participants had an opportunity to listen to the reports by Professor Peter Lorange (the president of Lorange Institute of Business Zurich, Switzerland), Dr. Saumodil Sarkara (Dean of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Research, Evora University, Portugal), and Lauri Koponen (Sales Director of JSC ACME Europe, Finland) that revolved around the role of creativity and innovation in business and education. The participants also had an opportunity to network and share their ideas in a roundtable.
On the second day of the conference participants took company visits to ACME Europe, Volfas Engelman, Aconitum, KTU Start up Space. The management and employees of the companies shared their experiences in the field of innovation.
Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) unites more than 65 educational and business organizations from 23 countries. BMDA serves as a platform for discussions, meetings and experience exchanges focused on strategic development of management and business education.
