At the beginning of November students from EMBA and MBA programmes had a traditional study tour to Japan. The tour was organized in cooperation with E.N. International and Aoyama University Business School. The programme aimed at introduction of Japanese business environment and cultural traditions. It included visits to Itochu and Subaru enterprises, Tokio stock exchange, Clean Energy Center Recycling Plant as well as small- and middle-scale companies engaged in the traditional businesses. Students also had a sightseeing tour to Kioto – the ancient capital of Japan. It included visits to several temples, participation in tea ceremony and visit to the small ceramics factory. At Aoyama University the group had a number of classes on trends in Japanese consumer behavior and comparative management.
